• A Terrible Dream

  Scruffy Black cat sitting in and old mossy oak tree, his gazing stare blazes through me.     As I sit in my day dreaming state sitting on my front porch swing.  I hear a cawing of a raven sitting next to the black cat,  "Caw, Caw, " he begin his eerie scream.

  "Caw, Caw,Caw" it seemed a hundred times, "MeeeeOoooW' went the scruffy black cat.  "How strange this is" I thought in the back of my mind.

  The wind picks up and it starts to swirl and howl, the wind russell the leaves in turn made the cat "GrroowL"

  A stranger pulls up on a bike he just sits there watching me outside watching me with a strange gaze "Something is definitely not right!"

  He begins to smoke a cigarette, "Hack, Coooough" he had a scowl look, his clothes were tattered and unclean, to be quite honest he looked rightful mean!

  "Caww, Caww"  Which seemed to go on for a thousand more times  "Swwwish, Hoooowl" "Cough, Haaaack"  all the sounds were in tandem as it seemed, it was almost unnerving making me want to scream!

  I opened my mouth but no noise came out, not a cry, a sob, not a soft shout.

  The Raven flew in front of me on my front porch and was still cawing with his ruffled feathers crawling with bugs and fleas

  The cat too jumped down and sat next to the bird.  I was frightened and still couldn't say one word.

  The man pulled something out of his torn pocket and seemed to aim at me, it was shiny and black, in the sun the handle slightly gleamed.

  I tried once again to open my mouth to let out a scream, only to wake up in my bed cold and sweaty, realizing it was only a terrible dream!
