Smolder and Ash
The Air is so thick I can hardly breathe. Look around the fire set ablaze the thicket and all the trees.
Lifting a rag up to my face trying to find a way out of this God Forsaken place.
Bells are ringing, sirerens screaming. People caught in this termoil are disarray hoping only to be dreaming.
An arsonist? How could someone do this? Are they out of their mind? I grind my teeth and clinch my fist.
Reaching out grabbing other in need. Lack of oxygen some passed out from not being able to breathe.
Finding my way along side a river bed, falling to my knees, Thanking the Lord I wasn't dead.
Helicopters fly up high, fire fighters fighting with all their might. These guys may loose their life, I am filled with such strife!
Mother earth "SCREAMS" as the rise of the hot ash and steam.
Things calm down once more but nothing looked as it did before.
Going back to my home looking at all the smoldering ash, my mind begins to ponder all I can do is think of so many questions of 'WHY' to ask.
Who are we to jude who dies or lives, we all have so many gifts to give.
Heading back towards the debree , The rich, The poor, all become one within me.
God bless everyone that goes through such disasterous distress, for no one of any nature should be put to this kind of test.
**God Bless all of people that have or going through traumatic experience, my prayers are with you all**
