  Dark VI

   

  Dark Smoke bellows from the dim corners of my mind

  Wanting to leave all the drama far behind

   

  Close my eyes take a deep breath

  Slow down my heart beat as I become death

   

  I should have known this would not have worked

  The pain you caused us is beyond eternal hurt

   

  I tried so hard and I thought it would succumb

  All in the end leaving me oh so numb

   

  A normal family is all I strived for

  I opened up only for you to slam the door

   

  We are so different and before I couldn’t contemplate

  The hurt and torture you left me in such a state

   

  I know now what I have to do

  Lick my wounds and stay away from you.
